This morning at Shangrila Resort in Nagarkot, I had the pleasure of guiding an inspiring outdoor Hatha Yoga session for a group of 16 Chinese guests, beautifully arranged by Pearl Holidays Pvt. Ltd., Kathmandu, Nepal. The session also included Naresh Ji, their kind and supportive guide, who actively participated in the practice.

The calm morning, light fog, and occasional mountain views made the atmosphere truly magical—perfect for deep connection and breath awareness.

Foggy Sunrise & Gentle Stillness

We gathered early in the garden, just before the first light. The surroundings were covered in a soft Nagarkot fog, creating a dreamlike setting. As we began, the fog briefly lifted, revealing the majestic Himalayan mountains for a few moments—just enough time for our guests to take photos and feel deeply inspired by nature’s beauty.

OM Chanting & Energizing Yoga Practice

Our yoga journey began with the sacred vibration of a long OM chanting, grounding the group into silence and presence. The class was a blend of experience levels—some participants were new to yoga, while others had practiced before. Yet, everyone moved together beautifully through the flow.

We practiced more than 30 Hatha Yoga poses, with a balance of standing, seated, and stretching postures designed to awaken the body gently yet powerfully.

Shavasana & Healing Bowl Sound

After the dynamic movement, we entered deep rest with Shavasana, enhanced by the calming resonance of the Tibetan Singing Bowl. The sound vibrations helped release stress, quiet the mind, and bring a sense of total relaxation to each guest.

Several people later shared that it was their first time experiencing sound healing, and it felt “very peaceful, calming, and refreshing.”

Calm, Happy, and Fully Recharged

We ended the class with deep breaths, soft smiles, and a circle of gratitude. Every participant expressed feeling energetic, relaxed, peaceful, and joyful—a beautiful way to start the day in Nagarkot.

We then gathered for a warm group photo, filled with smiles and appreciation. I was deeply touched when the guests and their guide, Naresh ji, came forward to thank me personally for the experience. Their positive energy and heartfelt words truly made my day.
